Hi, I'm Suélen! 👋🏼

​Part product designer, part curious about everything. I have a new hobby every year—currently, it's learning to play the acoustic guitar and improving my singing skills.

I’m a product designer originally from Brazil and I've lived in San Francisco for the last 10 years. 

I went to Journalism school and worked as a reporter for a while, which fine-tuned my investigative skills and critical thinking. My interest in people and willingness to delve into different perspectives are the backbones of how I approach design problems today.

In April of 2022, I took a break from work to travel across Europe. I visited 25 cities in 15 countries and experienced amazing food, art, and culture. From remote beaches in Greece to the bucolic life in rural Ireland, and the hustle and bustle of Budapest, I learned to appreciate even more the world we live in, and the comingling of things created by humans and nature. I came back deeply inspired and energized to take on my next challenges.

Some of my passions include food systems and food culture, music, languages, traveling, and writing.
